Drop them.

QBE employee lied to me on the phone about the 3rd adjuster could never get hold on my contractor to come and do a third estimate.

I called my contractor, and he had a voice recorder of the adjuster talking to him.I played it back to the desk audit woman she told me oh this is not good this is going to the top and some people could lose their jobs. My wife called to talk to a supervisor, and she could hear the employees laughing the way she spoke English (my wife is Mexican).

Several months later after I finally got the check from QBE, I received a letter in the mail two months later stating QBE was dropping my house insurance. My kitchen fire happen on July 10th around 12:30pm.QBE sent a contractor at my house trying to remove my burned cabinets on the same day around 5pm, before the adjuster even came to my house they were trying to get rid of things that would help me with my claim.

I told the gentleman you are not removing nothing until I get pictures and a adjuster comes to inspect the damage. The first adjuster that came to my house told me you know you are not covered by fire then he said he was just joking.QBE is the worst company I have ever did business with.I'm a Army Veteran and I do not expect special treatment from any company. QBE treated me in such a unprofessional matter they should pay me for mental stress for my wife and I.QBE CEO should send me a letter with an apology and check for all the money I had paid them 18 years.

Adjusters Lie

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had 2 insurance adjusters on a recorded line agree to pay O&P on a customers claim. After all the work was completed they didn’t pay. Now no managers will return call and the homeowner and I are left filing complaints and reporting them to TDI. I assist over 150 homeowner every year with insurance claims. QBE is a disgusting scam company that should be closed down.

DON'T EVER CONSIDER USING QBE. YOU'LL BE SORRY

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Plain & simply put: THEY DON'T PAY CLAIMS. Why have insurance if you can't use it? I had hail damage to my roof and cars in driveway. State Farm wrote a check on the spot for $8000 for auto damage. QBE GAVE ZERO! The insurance Commissioner of Colorado should close them down for unfair practices. They suck. NEVER CONSIDER USING QBE!

My dad got really sick with a bacterial disease called endocarditis which is life threatening. The doctors send this scam insurance all the medical records, fit to fly and urge to send him back to country of origin. Although the doctor stated he had to fly no later than 48 hours due to his critical situation they never answered or cared. Horrible experience

Disrespective agent, DANIEL DONOHUE

My son has a house on the east coast, but right now he's working on the west coast. Unfortunately his house was broken into recently, they not only stole several items but they also damaged furniture.

So the LAST THING you want to experience is a rude, sharp talking agent!

The 2 times ive talked Daniel Donohue, he was RUDE! He talked to me as a second or third class citizen, as though i was beneath him and he could address me in a negative manner!

Bait and switch tactics

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I switched coverage to QBE. When shopping for coverage, I told them that my (secondary) house was for sale. Got a competitive bid. One month later they send me a cancellation notice in the mail because there's a "For Sale" sign in the yard and moss growth on the garage roof. They send me a partial refund but also deducted a Policy Fee. When I challenged them about this Policy Fee, they said it was standard for them to keep it. I understand that they should keep it if I change my mind and cancel my policy, but they rejected me and they should have refunded the Policy Fee. Nice way to make easy money!

How I caught Q.b.e. And Seterus , and I plan to sue them when they lose class action lawsuit

I had a mortgage with Chase Bank for years with no problem. But in 2009 I was the victim of a horrible home invasion robbery.

Long story short, I was notven 30 days past due when I received a package from LBPS. It's not unusual for mortgage companies to sell mortgages to other banks. I called LBPS, who made nomen toon they were the first collection company Chase Bank formed. I did find out quickly when I asked for their billing address and was informed I was in preforclosure.

And thus began a 2 /2 year nightmare. Now I had a paralegal certificate, my family were lawyers and thank God one f my brothers owned a mortgage company. I did not know there is no such thing as a foreclosure lawyer, and no, they were not allowed to request a retaine, but they did. My father was the lawyer for the city of Boston until he died, and he The first had sent all his law books to me.

I hired and fired 2 lawyers, grabbed the real estate law book, and put the case together myself. Everyone caught up in this mess were told we had to go thru a mediation process. I had to wait a year, a terrible time not knowing if this home I had built and paid for would be taken from me. But I believed mediation was the end of the line.

No. It was a joke, I had done the release of attorney, nd that's when things got down and nasty. My first correspondence came in from QBE, claiming they were trackers, their job was to find homes that had no homeowners insurnce. Now my insurance previously ran about 1800.a year.

They told me I had no insurance and they hit me with a 9000.00 policy, and raised my payments 400.00 a month. Niw every day Id go to the mailbox and there were more forced policies, 90 day binders, new to me. But I knew it was not in the banks best interest for my home not to be insured. I had to find out who I was insured with.

I was determined I was not going to lose this. When I say I spent the better half of my life on the phone with LBPS, aka IBM, aka Seterus, and QBE I started at 6 am and called until they closed. I demanded statements, because I knew my escrow account would let me know what they were up to. I'd see a payment disbursed to an insurance company in October when in fact it was sent the following January and in comes a letter saying, sorry, psid too late, policy cancelled.

But I kept on them, and yes I finally found my policy. Seterus had sent Citizens a list of policies up for renewal, and I found my policy. By the policy number with nit my name, but Seterus as the loss payee. It was on a fax and Seterus could not deny sending it.

I told them Ihad it along with the 4 other customers and did they want me to contact those oeople. It was probably the first tine QBE immediately cancelled the 9000.0 policy and returned it to my escrow. But they did not return 7 months of overpayments and told me I had to pay the extra 4 months more. I called my brother, told him no way, but he said, do it or they will foreclose you.

And then the fraud started showing up on my monthly statements. Attorney fees, but no copy of the bill. 8 daily drive by my home to see if I still lived there. They charged 8.00 for each drive by.

I told them no that was not happening, where I lived they would have been seen. I asked for a oucture of the car, licence plate number, never got it. It turned out that what was settled in mediation was thrown out the window. I saved every scrap of correspondence from them, I caught every lie, every fraudulent charge .

QBE was not the only company placing forced insurance. A lot of companies that sold he homeowners at the same time issued one to Seterus and psid for it out of my escrow. They stole all my equity, Nd slowely but surely my monthly payments increased and I had to pay. .But I drove them crazy, they told me to stop calling , I told them when they gave me back my money I would.

Now I did my homework and I knew I had to stay with them for 2-/2 years. I called Quicken, explained, and told them to be ready. They werem and had me out of Seterus the month Seterus tried to raise my monthly amount another 89.09. I am with Quicken.

But am not done with Seterus. There is a class action suit going on, but it only goes after QBE, and I wanted every penny due. This class cation suit will be ruled on in April 2017. Of course Seterus and their minions will lose.

I will have a very easy time sueing them onc they have been found guilty and as much as I hate the thought of going over all that pepper work again, believe me I will. I won't settle for just 10 percent, I want every penny they stole. And I will prevail. I am a fighter and there is no way I plan to sit back and let them keep MY money.

Hopefully, it will stop other foreclosures, I read the complaints, but the victims are giving up, they don't know how to fight back, and it's heartbreaking. I plan to show them.aI am deadly determined that a Seterus is finally held accountable. I will get justice. I can document everything I say.

They cannot deny any of it. Finally I get my justice.

The worst company on the planet

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had an insurance claim on my house for Hail Damage. I sent in the insurance claim check to Seterus on 08/19/2016. The insurance claim funds were erroneously applied to my mortgage loan principal! Illegally because neither my wife or myself endorsed the check! Then for 8 weeks they gave me the run around claiming they would reverse it and send us funds. They constantly requested additional items and said they'd reverse the funds out of my principal. Then the 5th time talking to them they said I needed to send a letter in writing into their correspondence department of what had happened before they could reverse the funds. I did. A few weeks later they reversed the funds out of my mortgage principal. When I called in on 10/27/2016 they told me they now needed an insurance adjuster affidavit, which is a lie. I sent that in. I had copies of everything I sent. After asking for a supervisor for 23 minutes, I finally got one. I told them I sent in the insurance adjuster affidavit. They told me the claim amount didn't match the check. I explained to them I didn't pay depreciation, to look at the non-depreciation amount. Then they said the funds still don't match. Again I explained on the last page we were paid an additional $600 for an outside structure (shed). Finally she admitted it matched and said she'd be sending funds to me. We'll see. The process took 10 weeks! Every single other person in my community development already has had their roofs and siding repaired weeks ago! Stay away from Seterus!

QBE and SETERUS Need to be shut down

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My company finished the repairs on homeowners house over a month ago, QBE has had $20,070 check from Liberty Mutual for 3 weeks now even though it was sent to their "overnight" processing center with a paid return FED Ex envelope to the homeowner. Every frigging day they say they need something else or this isn't correct or that isn't correct. I'm about to put lien on property. I have never dealt with as many *** and incompetent people in the 25 years I've been a GC in one place. I don't know if they take *** pills or what. The homeowner is as irritated as I am at this point. There should be some kind of AG's investigation into their business practices (or lack thereof) by the State of Arizona. They just want to play with my money for as long as they can. UPDATE: Just got off the phone with them, they me to re-fax the contractors affadavit they were sent back in August because it hadn't come through complete. Why couldn't they have said that back in August?????? Lazy, ***, incompetent or all 3, I rest my case.

This company is a nightmare to deal with. They do not read the information submitted and continue to make home owners using a general contractor to jump through hoops. There is no accountability for these people and tthe horrible job they do. The home owner suffers. They are rude and unhelpful. When a home needs to be restored one should not have to pre pay with their own funds and hope to get reimbursement from QBE. Seterus should FIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

QBE receives documents by mail or via Fax only. My insurace company had to fax the adjuster's reporter 3 times beforeQBE acknowledged receipt. Then it takes 4-7 days for documents to be reviewed and uploaded into their system/your file. It's been 2 wks since contractor finished my house and I started process to receive final check to pay contractor. Have tried speaki g to a suoervisor but told none are available due to high call volume. IVe been placed on a call back list for a supervisor to phone me. One before I requested this and no one called me. Seterus/QBE has below par customer service and delivery.

We lost the use of our home in MA after the harsh winter of 2015. My Veteran, Firefighter husband, my three children and I have been out of our home for 9 months this week. Everytime I call to try and get funds from the insurance check I get different answers. QBE is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They give you different paperwork to fill out and just when you think they are going to release funds they give you some strange reason why they can't. The hold time with this company is outrageous and half the representatives cannot answer your questions. They have delayed our rebuilding process greatly. I have asked to speak to supervisors on numerous occasions and they put you on a call list. On 3 seperate occasions I have not received a call back. If things don't start to progress with this company we will be hiring an attorney.

Yes! QBE refused to fix the problem they created by paying two separate flood policies to two different ins companies causing both companies to void policies and prevented claim to be completed even though they took thousands from my escrow account and are making me pay for it and they won't even a dress it they just keep charging me again and again then act as if they don't have to pay for their incompetence and they. are responsible for so many costly errors
